We are proud to announce we have just been awarded our Cyber Essentials certificate.

Cyber Essentials is a Government scheme introduced to help businesses of all sizes demonstrate to their stakeholders that they have taken all the essential precautions to reduce the risk from cyber-attacks.

Zamurad Hussain, MD at HBT, explains “Being at the top of our game when it comes to internet security has always been a top priority for us, although we have never sought official recognition for the exacting standards we adhere to. Gaining the Cyber Essential certificate is an effective way to demonstrate our commitment to internet safety to our customers and suppliers.It is also a nice way to kick off the celebrations for our 30 year anniversary!”

In summary, Cyber Essentials targets three key areas of internet security; hacking, phishing and password guessing.

The damage an attack can cause to both your reputation and your bank balance is frightening. We are encouraging our customers to also become certified and are assisting them through the process to help them implement any new security strategies with minimum disruption and maximum effectiveness.”
